1. Structural fat: this fills the gaps between organs and acts as a sort of “packing material” for the body. We all have (and need) this type of fat.
2. Normal reserves: the body draws upon these fats when nutritional intake is less than what the body demands. Again, we need this type of fat in our bodies.
3. Abnormal reserves: these excessive accumulations of fat are inaccessible and cannot be drawn on in emergencies like the “normal reserves.” If that were the case, simply not eating would induce weight loss in anyone. These fixed deposits throughout the body cause obesity.
By merely restricting one’s diet or reducing caloric intake, the body is only consuming the normal fat reserves and can never access the abnormal accumulations. The use of the HCG hormone releases abnormal fat deposits and makes the reserves available for consumption by the body. HCG enables the body to burn about 4,000 calories per day. Because you’ll be eating under 1000 calories per day, the net result is a loss of 3,500 calories, or one pound, each day.
Administer 200 IU of HCG as a subcutaneous shot daily. Maintain the diet throughout the cycle, including on skipped injection days. The injections should be given at the same time each day. Women should skip injections only on “full flow” menstruation days.
For the first three days, consume as much food as possible, focusing on high-fat foods. This pre-sets your body for the lower calorie diet to come. On the fourth day, begin the lower calorie diet and continue it throughout the injections and for three days following the last injection.
If you experience days with no weight loss, it is important to log your progress. You may experience a period with no weight loss. Stick to the HCG diet, and weight loss will resume. Consider an “Apple Day” to assist in losing excess water weight.
If you experience constipation, consider using an herbal laxative. You will be eating less food, so producing less waste is normal.
For the three weeks following the lower calorie diet, adhere to a high-protein diet, eliminating all starches and sugars. After three weeks, gradually add starches based on daily weigh-ins, preferably complex carbohydrates like oatmeal, brown rice, and whole grains.

Mild exercise is recommended during the injection phase. Activities like walking, swimming, biking, or moderate weight lifting are fine. Avoid extreme exercise regimens.
Set incremental weight loss goals. For example, aim for 25 pounds initially if you need to lose 80 pounds. Reaching smaller goals is more manageable and encouraging.
Wait six weeks after your last injection before restarting the HCG protocol to prevent immunity build-up. Call our office two weeks before the desired restart date to make an appointment.
